Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 June 2026
These terms govern your use of the Dar al-Hikma website and educational services. By using the site or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility & accounts
A valid email is required to create an account. You are responsible for activity on your account, which is for one person and may not be shared.
Enrolment & access
Purchasing grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the course materials and recordings for the relevant cohort or period.
Intellectual property & no sharing
All texts, recordings, slides, and materials are the property of Dar al-Hikma or its teachers and are licensed to you for personal study only. You may not record sessions, redistribute content, or share your login. Recordings are watermarked, and any violation ends your access without a refund.
Live sessions & recordings
Sessions are taught live on Zoom, and recordings are provided to enrolled students except where a teacher designates a session as live-only. We aim to keep the schedule but may adjust times or teachers when necessary.
Payment & refunds
Prices are shown at checkout and processed by our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy). See our Refund Policy for details.
Acceptable use
No unlawful, abusive, or disruptive behaviour. Respect teachers and fellow students. Instruction is in Classical Arabic.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. Content is educational and does not guarantee specific outcomes or the award of an ijāza. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Dar al-Hikma operates.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time. For any question, contact us at support@daralhikma.institute.
