Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Dar al-Hikma website and educational services. By using the site or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Dar al-Hikma is operated by Mouhammad Ouwaiss MOOLLAN, established in Türkiye. Your contract for any course is with them.
Contact: support@daralhikma.institute.
Eligibility & accounts
A valid email is required to create an account. You are responsible for activity on your account, which is for one person and may not be shared.
Enrolment & access
Purchasing grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the course materials and recordings for the relevant cohort or period.
Intellectual property & no sharing
All texts, recordings, slides, and materials are the property of Dar al-Hikma or its teachers and are licensed to you for personal study only. You may not record sessions, redistribute content, or share your login. Recordings are watermarked, and any violation ends your access without a refund.
Live sessions & recordings
Sessions are taught live on Zoom, and recordings are provided to enrolled students except where a teacher designates a session as live-only. We aim to keep the schedule but may adjust times or teachers when necessary.
Payment
Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. Payment is by direct bank transfer: you receive a reference code and our bank details, transfer the amount quoting that code, and we verify it manually - usually within a day. Your access opens only once we have confirmed the transfer, so an enrolment is not complete at the moment you submit the form. Any transfer or currency-conversion fee charged by your own bank is yours to pay; if what arrives is short of the amount quoted, we will contact you before opening access.
Scholarships
You may ask to pay half, or to study on a full scholarship, on the same checkout. We ask for no proof and take you at your word. A request is not an entitlement: we review each one and decide according to what we can fund, and we will tell you either way. A granted scholarship covers the texts named in your request for that term only.
Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
No unlawful, abusive, or disruptive behaviour. Respect teachers and fellow students. Instruction is in Classical Arabic.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. Content is educational and does not guarantee specific outcomes or the award of an ijāza. Our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and any dispute will be heard by its courts.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time. For any question, contact us at support@daralhikma.institute.
